Alanis Morissette To Drop New Album This June
We’re clearly having a 90s grrl rock revival with new LPs from Garbage and Fiona Apple, and now the original icon for enraged females everywhere, Alanis Morissette, is preparing a new album for this year, according to Rolling Stone. Morissette is expected to drop the new collection of tunes (written at home while caring for her newborn son Ever Imre) this June. Tracks will include a balled called “Havoc” and a fame-criticizing track called “Celebrity” with the lyric, “I am a tattooed sexy dancing monkey.” Says Morissette, “Yes, it was inspired by specific people. But I’ll never talk about that, ’cause it’s just rude.” Any guesses?
