Nelly Furtado And Nas’ “Something”: Hear A Clip Of The New Song
Following “Big Hoops (Bigger The Better)”, we’re given another preview of Nelly Furtado‘s upcoming LP The Spirit Indestructible through a 90-second clip of new song “Something”. (At least we think we are. No official tracklist for the LP has been announced yet.) It’s a mid-tempo jam that finds the Canadian singer repeating the refrain “baby, I can give you something” atop an ominous bassline and heartbeat-like thumps. Eventually, Nas comes in and delivers a complimentary rap by praising his object of affection’s “fly eyes, pretty smile, plus she got class,” and later adding that “she’s hot like liquid metal.” Give “Something” a listen below.
