We have no doubt that Florence + The Machine is currently the frontrunner to win Best Song at next year’s Oscars with her epic single “Breath Of Life”, off the Snow White And The Huntsman soundtrack. In the above behind-the-scenes video, Flo discusses creating the operatic tune as we watch her record the track in front of a live orchestra. “I just thought the Queen was such a amazing character,” says Welch, referencing Charlize Theron’s evil antagonist Queen Ravenna, who inspired the song. “She’s literally sucking the life out of young girls.” The Snow White And The Huntsman soundtrack is out May 29. Tell us, are you digging her Snow White single more, or do you prefer her Twilight tune “Heavy In Your Arms”?
