No Doubt promised tons of new content for their fans between now and the release of their long-awaited album, due September 25, and the band is making good on their promise already. The ska-pop-rock quartet uploaded their first In Studio webisode, where we get a behind-the-scenes look at the recording of their LP, and hear a few bits and pieces of new track “Push And Shove”.
“You push and shove / I take the bait / It’s a risky business / Gonna play it anyway,” sings Gwen Stefani on the tune, which was a collaboration between No Doubt and Diplo and Switch, the principals behind Major Lazer. (Apparently, Jimmy Iovine was responsible for the two groups getting together. Thanks, Jimmy! We like what we hear so far.)
