Adam Lambert‘s sophomore album Trespassing has been a long time coming. After the release of his debut LP, For Your Entertainment, which dropped in 2009 after his tenure on American Idol, Lambert began work on his follow-up, which he called his “dream album”. “I’m writing most of the material with people myself this time,” he told MTV in May 2011. “I’m making exactly what I want to listen to.” The fruit of Glambert’s labor officially drops on May 15, but the American Idol alum is streaming his full album online right now. We’re still in the middle of our first listen, but so far it’s full of belts, whoops, hand-claps, disco-synths, gorgeous melodies and glitter-sprinkled swag. Basically, it’s everything we ever wanted. Stream all 15 tracks over at Adam Lambert’s official store, then head back here and let us know your thoughts. Did it live up to the hype?
