Rihanna and Chris Brown have seemed more than usually chummy the past year — the former couple collaborated on two remixes, and were spotted hanging out together at Rihanna’s birthday celebration in February. (RiRi even tweeted out a “Happy Birthday” message to Brown on May 5, his 23rd birthday.) Despite their troubled history together, all is well between them now… right? Not so fast. Rihanna has just unfollowed Brown on Twitter, and a supposed diss to the “Where Have You Been” singer in a new freestyle rap may have been the cause.
Last night (May 9), Brown tweeted out a link to a new freestyle rap utilizing Kanye West‘s G.O.O.D. Music track “Theraflu” (which has since been renamed “Way Too Cold.”) One particular line of Breezy’s must have stuck out for Rihanna: “Don’t fuck with my old bitch it’s like a bad fur / Every industry n**** had her/ Trick or treat like a pumpkin just to smash her / Bitch is breaking codes, but I’m the password.”

Soon after Brown tweeted out the link to his freestyle, Rihanna unfollowed him, tweeting out, “Aw, poor dat #neaux1currr.” (That’s Rihanna-speak for “no one cares,” we gather.)
Brown’s response? “Assumptions! I didn’t say any names so if u took offense to it then its something you feel guilty about.” Not exactly an apology or denial there, Chris…
Brown also released a freestyle rap over West’s “Mercy”, though we’re not sure how many of his ex-girlfriends were upset by any of the lyrics in this one.

What an ass! After finally being able to move past everything and befriend each other, he disrespects her like that? Those lyrics aren’t even true. What a douche! They were doing so well, sad that Chris had to f_ck sh!t up again. Rihanna was always too good for him and this just reconfirms that. I hope she’s cut him off for good. She’s been nothing but forgiving, wishing him nothing but the best. And that’s how he repays her after HE was the one in the wrong? If this doesn’t solidify that he’s a d!ck, nothing does. She’s more successful than he’ll ever be, eat that “cake” Chris Brown…I hope Rihanna really learns something from this! He had her fooled as well as all of Team Breezy. No one ever wants to admit that they’ve been in love with a bad person, but Rihanna is finally seeing the light. I think she was really convinced that he was a young guy from a broken home with a kind heart who did a very terrible thing that he was incredibly sorry for. Turns out he’s just terrible guy…
