Nelly Furtado‘s The Spirit Indestructible has flown from its original June release date one week after the singer revealed its tracklist, according to a report from UK site Digital Spy. The Canadian songstress’ fifth studio LP was slated to be out on June 19, but has now apparently been bumped back nearly three months, to September 11. So far Furtado herself has yet to confirm the schedule change via her official site or on Twitter. But given that “Big Hoops (Bigger The Better)” has yet to take off at radio in the full month since its release, perhaps launching the LP off the back of a stronger single isn’t such a bad idea?
