The-Dream‘s new album is becoming a reality. The R&B singer took to Twitter to announced that his new LP Love IV MMXII will drop on August 14. The fourth installment of his Love series, the album boasts collabs with Mary J. Blige and Gucci Mane. “LOVE IV is the BEST Album I’ve made,” tweeted the singer. “I don’t care what the sales will be. I will do my best to Challenge your Taste And Knowledge.” Challenge accepted!

Love IV MMXII (that’s Love 4 2012, for those who are Roman Numeral illiterate) is the follow-up album to 2010’s Love King. Last year, Dream came out with a free album, 1977, released under his birth name, Terius Nash.

Though his own singles have failed to find major success on the charts, Dream is responsible for writing some of pop’s biggest hits, including Beyonce‘s “Single Ladies (Put A Ring On It)”, Rihanna‘s “Umbrella” and Justin Bieber‘s “Baby.” He also produced Kim Kardashian‘s DOA single “Jam”, but hey, they can’t all be winners.
