Chris Brown Dedicates His Bratty “Till I Die” Video To Beastie Boys’ Adam Yauch

We’re not entirely unconvinced that Chris Brown‘s new video for “Till I Die” isn’t a straight-up parody. Instead of trying to convince us he’s a sex object by having women fawn all over him (or float above him), Breezy — with a mouth overflowing with gold teeth and matching bling draped across his chest — steps right into the role of a douchebag, as he introduces himself by tripping a co-worker who obviously didn’t need one more thing to go wrong that day.

It being 4:20 p.m. and all, Brown is soon joined by Wiz Khalifa and Big Sean, the trio rides the largest (and most obvious) metaphor for a doobie in existence — His Royal Highness Snoop Dogg is their chauffeur — while their female companions in the car look bored out of their minds.

The clip culminates in the reefer-breathing trifecta attending a house party, where Wiz sprouts wings and Chris runs around like he’s Leonardo DiCaprio in The Beach. According to a tweet from Brown, the brats-on-parade clip is dedicated to Beastie Boys‘ late member Adam “MCA” Yauch, which would be a nice sentiment if anything in this video resembled anything Yauch stood for.
