Rihanna may have shown off her weapons proficiency in the recent flick Battleship, but personally, we’d rather enlist her badass “Princess of China” persona in a fight against aliens any day. In the stylish (and thoroughly entertaining) video for Coldplay‘s latest Mylo Xyloto single, Chris Martin and Ri Ri engage in an epic battle/romance inspired by classic samurai movies in which they dance, fight, and fly — not to mention, Rihanna sports an intimidating Freddy Krueger-inspired manicure that means we definitely won’t be messing with her any time soon.
The sumptuous, mesmerizing visuals perfectly complement the lush tune — and we don’t even have do the extra work of reading subtitles! Crouching Coldplay, Hidden Ri Ri gets two thumbs up from us.
