Not to make a bad pun, but Carrie Underwood blew us away with her performance of her album title track “Blown Away” at the 2012 Billboard Music Awards, and she’s ready to knock our socks off again with the single’s video. This 45-second teaser creates a foreboding atmosphere, thanks to a sepia-toned twister, flashes of thunder and lightening, smashed windows, and Carrie engaged in a heated dispute with a man holding her wrist a little too tightly. Based on this preview alone, this could easily be the CMT winner‘s most epic set of visuals yet.

This song is SO INSANELY CATCHY. I’ve haven’t listened to Carrie much but this song is a gem.
