Adam Levine To Make Big Screen Debut In ‘Can A Song Save Your Life?’

Can a song save your life? (We doubt it — though hearing “Moves Like Jagger” one more time might kill us.) That’s the question posed by an upcoming film starring Keira Knightley, in which Maroon 5 frontman and Voice coach extraordinaire Adam Levine will make his (inevitable?) leap onto the silver screen.

Already generating buzz for his bound-to-be-creepy role on American Horror Story playing one of the mysterious “Lovers,” now Levine will stretch those acting muscles even further by playing a jerky musician who dumps Knightley’s character early in the film, thus launching her on a vengeful solo career. (We bet Christina Aguilera fully approves of this casting.) Can A Song Save Your Life? is executive-produced by Judd Apatow and co-stars Mark Ruffalo.

Now can we just request that they change that awful title ASAP?
