Just a few weeks ago, Justin Bieber suffered a concussion when he smacked his head on a glass wall during a Paris show. The pop star was more embarrassed than hurt, but things did get a bit scary when Bieber walked offstage and passed out while walking down a flight of stairs. As the Believe singer’s crew was filming footage for his NBC special Justin Bieber: All Around The World, the frightening fall was caught on tape.

“I went offstage and I immediately felt really weak and I was walking down the stairs and I passed out for like fifteen seconds, I was unresponsive, not talking,” Bieber told TMZ following his injury. “I opened my eyes and I saw the doctor, he told me I had a concussion but to just relax and have someone near me.”

“I have a little bit of a headache, but I feel fine. You gotta laugh at yourself sometimes. Me and glass windows don’t work,” he laughed.

The first part of the pop star’s two-part special aired Wednesday June 20, and the second part played last night on Thursday June 21. Though we have no doubt in Bieber’s ability to sell records — Believe is expected to sell as many as 500,000 copies in its first week — he’s apparently unable to work the same magic on TV, as his special pretty much flopped in the ratings.
