Ladies and gentlemen, Kelis is back. The artist behind Felsh Tone, one of the best dance albums of the past few years (and one of our favorite LPs of 2010) has given us the new single “Distance,” a chilly jam about a no-good cheater. “When your lips press up on mine, I taste the difference. Now I need some distance,” she croons on the track, the first we’ve heard from her sixth studio album, which should easily continue her long-standing tradition of bringing boys to the yard.
