JoJo wrote about 100 songs for her upcoming album Jumping Trains, and you better believe that only the sexiest of songs are making the final cut. One of the naughtier tunes on the LP is “Demonstrate”, produced by Drake‘s regular collaborator Noah “40” Shebib. The track kicks off with a guitar intro, then glides into a serene, R&B-leaning slow jam. “I can’t say / but I know I can demonstrate / I can let my body explain / I know I can demonstrate,” sings the 21-year-old, all growns up. Jump to give it a spin yourself.
This sounds exactly like a song someone like Kelly Rowland might release, and surprisingly, JoJo totally pulls it off. While every other hot young thing is hopping on trends and releasing electro-dubstep-techno-kitchen-sink club-stompers in order to get noticed, we appreciate JoJo keeping things slow and sexy. And hey, Drake approves — so should you.
“Demonstrate” hits iTunes on August 28. JoJo’s third studio album, Jumping Trains, is due out later this year.

Wow. This is a great song. The production is nice and just like you mentioned, it’s good to see Jojo taking things in a different direction from today’s Top 40. If the rest of her album is as fantastic as this track I think it’ll do well.
Love the new single JOJO!
you’re my favorite
We have lost our R & B sounds over the years. I PRAISE YOU, for bringing it back.
she sounds really good on this song. this gives off that real r&b vibe – we don’t have much of this anymore. reminds me of that good 90′s sound. She’s very talented
