Katherine Jackson, the woman who gave birth to more than one of the last century’s greatest entertainers, has been reported missing. The report was filed by Trent Jackson, her nephew, after some confusion about whether or not she was traveling with daughter Rebbie Jackson. This follows a series of disagreements within the Jackson family, with five of Katherine’s children (including Janet Jackson) stating publicly that the 82-year-old was being mistreated by the executors of Michael Jackson‘s estate, claiming his will had been faked. There are also conflicting reports about Ms. Jackson’s health.

UPDATE: Authorities stated on Sunday afternoon that Katherine Jackson is safe and sound with daughter Rebbie in Arizona, following a doctor’s order to “de-stress,” says The Hollywood Reporter.

According to CNN, Michael’s children — who have been left in Katherine’s care following his death — had been trying to reach their grandmother for a week without success.

Paris Jackson reached out on Twitter for help: “yes, my grandmother is missing . i haven’t spoken with her in a week i want her home now,” followed by, “if anybody sees my grandmother , please call the authorities or this number— (818)-876-0186 it’s the security number .. thank you so much.”

Her most recent tweet says: “the same doctor that testified on behalf of dr murray saying my father was a drug addict (a lie) is caring for my grandmother… just saying.”

It is rare for Katherine not to speak to her grandchildren on a daily basis, hence the cause for concern. Calls to Rebbie and Janet Jackson resulted in being told that their mother was “unavailable.”

Katherine’s lawyer Sandra Ribera said: “I’m concerned that she would never do this… We have no idea what’s going on with her. No one has talked to her.”

Son Jermaine Jackson issued a statement late on Sunday that noted Katherine was ordered to stay away from the phone and computers during her stay in Arizona. He added that access to his mother is not being blocked.

The Hollywood Reporter said the following:

The incident demonstrated divisions in the Jackson family just days after five of the singer’s siblings once again claimed that the King of Pop’s will was a fake and that the executors of his lucrative estate should step down.

The undated letter, signed by Janet, Randy, Tito, Rebbie and Jermaine Jackson, claimed Katherine Jackson was being manipulated by the executors, John Branca and John McClain, her health had been affected, and she suffered a mini-stroke.

The Jackson matriarch had apparently been scheduled to travel the Southwest by RV to watch her sons perform on tour, but never made it to any of the concerts.
