Boy George Covers Lana Del Rey’s “Video Games”: Watch The Video

It’s been far too long since we heard new music from pop icon Boy George. (Where’s that Culture Club reunion tour that was supposed to happen this year?) But the UK crooner has at least given us something new to feast our ears on by adding his name to the list of those who’ve covered Lana Del Rey‘s “Video Games”. And not only that — we also get a video for his soulful, kind-of-sort-of bluegrass rendition.

Like fellow Brits Pet Shop Boys and their “Winner” visual, Boy is absent from his “Video Games” clip. Instead, we’re treated to the scenes of a couple — London model Cesare Polini and Los Angeles transplant Angel Rose — making their way through the London suburb of Bromley. The pair fill their time by doing mundane things like writing their initials in the sand, eating cotton candy and riding a train. And the magic of it is that you can’t take your eyes off them.

George promises on YouTube that the story is to be continued. Catch the first part above.
