Whenever a fan joins a musician onstage during a concert — whether invited up or not — there’s always that moment when it can either be endearing or slightly harrowing. Will the person hug the performer for a second before launching into the crowd, or will it devolve into potential stalker behavior? At most large venues these incidents fall into the latter category, and that was definitely the case at Nicki Minaj‘s concert in Miami on Wednesday (July 25).
As you can see in the above video, Minaj was engaged in some between-song banter when a fan rushed onstage and grabbed her around the waist somewhat harmlessly. But once security wrangled the guy, he tightened his grasp, which resulted in members of the security crew and Nicki’s entourage giving him a solid drubbing on the side of the stage. Was it really necessary that the guy get some bootz in his trap? Maybe not, but it’s hard to feel bad for him. Not surprisingly, Minaj was unfazed by the whole thing and immediately laughed it off, thanking the crowd “for the love.”

NEWSFLASH!!! after being beat by Nicki’s security on stage and in the back, this fan was then arrested for BATTERY!!!! YES, he was, and is still in a Miami jail. NOW IS THAT FAIR!!!!!!!!!!! Is that how Nicki treats her fans….
