Zac Brown Band black and white

After a brief interruption by NasLife Is Good, Zac Brown Band‘s Uncaged returns to the peak position on the Billboard Top 200 for a second week. Unfortunately for the Atlanta country act, with 48,000 copies of their latest LP sold in the previous seven-day period, this marks the lowest sales week for a #1 album in 2012 so far. Billboard notes that you have to go back to the week of February 19, 2011, when Nicki Minaj‘s Pink Friday was on top, for a lower sales frame (45,000).

Overall, album sales in 2012 are down 3% compared to the same period a year ago. That’s not entirely surprising, however, considering there has yet to be a breakout smash a la Adele‘s 21 this year. Think either No Doubt, Green Day, The Killers or Pink pull a monster album out of their hats in September?

Elsewhere, only two new entries appear in the Top 10 this week: Handwritten, the fourth album from New Jersey punk rockers The Gaslight Anthem (#3, 40,000), and Passion Pit‘s Gossamer (#4, 37,000). Both albums give the respective bands their highest chart positions to-date on the Top 200.

How the magnets are handled can also affect how well they work. For instance, if the subjected to shock, stress, or intense vibration, they may become damaged or chipped. This is an especially strong threat for Earth Magnets that are made from brittle alloys.
