Usher’s Ex-Wife Slams Him For His “Bogus” Sympathy In Wake Of Stepson’s Death

Oh, dear. Often while facing a tragedy, people band together, but not so in the case of Usher and his ex-wife Tameka Foster. Foster is blasting the R&B star for his behavior following the death of his stepson, 11-year-old Kile Glover, who was declared brain dead after being involved in a fatal watercraft accident on July 8 and was taken off life support on July 21. Foster claims that Usher is only pretending to be affected by the tragedy to gain sympathy in the media, reports TMZ.

The 33-year-old artist requested that the former couple’s custody hearings be delayed, as the hearing would cause “unnecessary stress and strain” for both himself, Tameka and their two children “in the immediate wake of this tragedy.” It has also been reported that the singer is concerned that Foster would receive an unfair advantage during the hearing, as the court would be opposed to ruling against a mother currently mourning the death of her child.

Foster, however, believes that Usher’s suffering his “bogus”, and that his attempts to postpone the hearing are “a transparent sham”. She submitted documents to the court claiming that the artist did not attend Glover’s funeral, only visited him once in the hospital, and refused to tweet out “Please Pray For Kile” to his millions of followers. She’s asking that Usher’s request be denied and that he be required to attend the August 13 court date.

It’s impossible to choose sides or give an opinion on this matter without knowing more, but we just hope Usher and Foster resolve their differences amicably and do what’s best for their two children.
