That upcoming documentary focusing on Beyonce‘s life just gained a possible new interview subject: Australian Olympic diver Matthew Mitcham. The 24-year-old Gold medalist is currently getting set to compete at the London Olympics tomorrow, and perhaps to ease some stress, he busted out his trusty ukelele (a man of many talents, it seems) and recorded himself while covering Bey’s 2008 smash “Single Ladies (Put A Ring On It)”.
“I profess to be neither a great instrumentalist nor singer, I’m just an Olympic diver who likes to strum away in his spare time,” Mitcham noted on YouTube. See if you think he’s got the diva chops to do the song justice below.
