Every female pop star on the planet changes her hair color basically every other day — what’s Katy Perry‘s dye job at now? We can’t keep track — so why can’t male pop artists embark on a ‘do switcheroo every now and then? Adam Lambert continues to defy expectations yet again by changing his dark black locks to platinum, as seen in a new photo he shared Tuesday August 7.
“You ask Why? Why not? ;) change is good,” he wrote in response to the Twitter freakout over his updated coif. The pop star, who is a natural redhead (at least according to this adorable baby photo), is definitely ready to have more fun as a blond: “Even more excited to play dress up in Japan now! #chromeashplatinumfantasy,” he tweeted.

I love the blond hair but the picture Adam tweeted in black and white doesn’t show off how good he really looks with blond hair. He’s now got a beautiful tan so the blond color looks fabulous. It may take some people a little time to get used to the change but I think they will love it too. If they don’t too bad.
I’m happy to see Adam changing up his look – change is good :) Any color he’d like to try is cool with me – it doesn’t change his voice, his talent, or anything about him that matters. Have fun Adam. Play with your look. In fact, let us see your strawberry blond, and give deep copper and maroon a try while you’re playing. I, personally, would love to see several shades of red tried;. The makeup changes to go along with the hair can be fun too. Change more often and people will deal with it better. Just have fun! If Sutan can try platinum, so can you :)

Adam is one of those who can sport any color and looks fabulous! With his newly acquired tan and with that bleached blonde hair, he looks like a Viking God, or Nordic God! I can’t wait to see the outfits he’ll be sporting with this new look for his show in Japan this month! Adam is not one to be subtle in his looks or dressing! Boy is killing it with this new hair color! I love it!
I LOVE it so far, need to see moar pics tho!! It’s fun to change up but I think my fav is prob the dark with the lighter brown highlights he has been doing lately. I don’t like it too black with too black bushy eyebrows either.
