Pink Reveals Eminem, Lily Allen And Nate Ruess Collaborations Are On ‘The Truth About Love’

In an interview with Sydney’s Herald Sun paper, Pink dished out some eyebrow-raising facts about upcoming album The Truth About Love — mainly that she’s got quite a trio of guests lined up for the LP, including Eminem. The pair had, of course, previously collaborated on Em’s 2010 Recovery track “Won’t Back Down”.

“He said ‘Do you want to do a song with me?’ Fuck yeah! I said ‘Do you want to do a song with me?’ and he said ‘Fuck yeah!” Handshake. Nothing signed. Done,” Pink told the Herald Sun about working with Slim Shady.

The only hint Pink gave about the tune is that she called it an “alternative club banger,” which kind of leaves things open to interpretation. “I think we have another song in our future that will be funny and shit talking,” she promised.

Also in store on the bright-haired songstress’ album are an appearance by Lily Allen (“She’s the funniest, wittiest person,” Pink says) and a duet with fun. frontman Nate Reuss.

Meanwhile, she explains that she has so far resisted joining the likes of Britney Spears, Jennifer Lopez and Mariah Carey in signing up for a judging spot on one of the myriad of reality singing competitions currently in rotation. (Though, how awesome of a judge would Pink be, right?)

“I said no because you can’t be honest. People will hate you if you’re honest,” the “Blow Me (One Last Kiss)” singer noted while pointing out she was offered positions on American Idol, The X Factor and the Australian version of The Voice. “Simon Cowell is the only person who gets away with it because he’s got an accent. And he’s a man. People would just hate me more than they already do. I don’t want to hurt anybody’s feelings. Besides, you can sing karaoke anywhere…”

Pink’s sixth album The Truth About Love is due out September 18. Are you looking forward to her all-star collabs on the LP?
