Stripping gets spotlighted on 2 Chainz‘s anticipated collaboration with Nicki Minaj, “Love Dem Strippers”, off the rappers’ forthcoming album Based On A T.R.U. Story. It’s not the first time the ladies of the pole have been celebrated in song, and it won’t be the last. It’s also not the best — we’ve heard better verses from both MCs, and the repetitive hook isn’t doing much for us either. We’d be hard-pressed to find an exotic dancer who could work it to this forgettable number.
2 Chainz and Nicki, who are currently on tour together, have shot a video for their collab in Atlanta, enlisting the help of director Benny Boom. Can we expect Minaj to be working the pole, or making it rain on another on-screen stripper?
