We’ve seen Lady Gaga decked out in a black PVC outfit and with little monsters swarming all over her in ads for her Fame fragrance, but now the “Born This Way” songstress’ latest dark (and downright creepy) commercial for the perfume has arrived. Prepare to see Mother Monster in various black Haus ensembles, marching around an army of semi-naked men on a grim set and smearing black goo on one gent’s face (and on a giant pair of black lips). And here you thought the Lady had lightened up!
“We thought, let’s just make the most epic fragrance campaign of all time and let’s not care at all about whether they can even print it or show it on TV,” Gaga told Vogue, per PopJustice. “Let’s just do everything we ever dreamed of. We basically did this purely for the pleasure of working together.” Watch above.
It’s worth noting that this is just the trailer for the full-fledged commercial, which is apparently also supposed to double as a music video of sorts for “Scheiße.”
