Kelly Clarkson has been dutifully doling out the covers on her current Stronger tour around the US, and she took the opportunity to honor one of Detroit’s finest during her stop in the Michigan city. On Friday August 10, Clarkson donned a grey hoodie to perform Eminem‘s Oscar-winning 8 Mile song “Lose Yourself”, impressively turning the spoken raps into something more melodic.

The 30-year-old singer has also released a new song for the Dallas Cowboys in conjunction with Pepsi’s NFL promotions, which aims in having a pop star record an anthem for a team from their home state. Naturally, the proud Texan (born in Fort Worth) was a perfect fit for the Cowboys, and her fist-pumping banger “Get Up” is sure to get everyone — even non-sports fans — up on their feet. Head below to give it a listen.
