Did Adele Secretly Get Married? No.
Early Wednesday (Aug. 30), the internet was abuzz that Adele had secretly married her longtime boyfriend, after she appeared to be wearing a wedding ring in the above photo from the cover of the latest issue of Life & Style. Alas, it was just a ring, as the Grammy winner took to Twitter to respond to the rumors, saying “I’m not married…Zzzzzz.” So you know what that means: we still have an Adele wedding to look forward to!
The 24-year-old singer made her relationship with Simon Konecki public in January, and in June announced she was pregnant. Being one of those rare stars who actually means it when they say they want privacy, the Grammy winner soon removed herself from the public eye. Earlier this year Adele said she’d need about two years to recharge and work on her next album, but married or not she’ll have plenty of (non-break-up) material to write about.
