For the cover of Alicia Keys‘ next single “Girl On Fire” — the title track on her forthcoming album (out Nov. 27) — she kept the short locks. But gone is the neo-classic bob haircut seen on the album’s cover, and instead she’s rocking a sleek, slicked back look. The single drops on September 4, and two days later she’ll perform it live at the 2012 MTV Video Music Awards. And if the song is anywhere near as cool as her ‘do, we’re in for a treat.
