Kanye West’s “Clique”: Hear Yeezy Boast About Kim Kardashian’s Sex Tape

We knew it would happen eventually: Kanye West has broken his silence on the issue of Kim Kardashian’s 2003 sex tape with Ray J. In a leaked snippet of “Clique,” the forthcoming single from the G.O.O.D. Music Cruel Summer compilation (Sep. 18), Ye boasts “Ate breakfast at Gucci / My girl a superstar all from a home movie.” Obviously everyone’s first reaction was “They serve food at Gucci?!” West sounds pretty comfortable with Kim’s breakout moment, so perhaps now the door is open for a Kanye-Ray J collaboration. After all, he has worked with just about everyone else in hip-hop.
In addition to “Cold” and “Perfect Bitch”, the Hit-Boy-produced “Clique” is Kanye’s third song to mention Kardashian, and we’re guessing there are more on the way. The track also features Jay-Z and Big Sean, but Kanye’s the only one who appears in the 30-second snippet, which you can hear below.
