If you were hoping Jimmy Fallon would be able to pry some details out of Demi Lovato about her MTV Video Music Awards pre-show performance tonight, you’ll be disappointed to hear the gist of what she had to offer: “It’s a secret location… It’s gonna be pretty awesome.” Oh, Demi — that’s what they all say.
She was a bit more loose-lipped when it came time to discuss her gig as a judge on The X Factor. “I’m only 20 and sometimes I have to critique people that are older than me,” Lovato said. “But as the competition has been going and going, I’ve actually been able to really mentor people.” Demi also got a few good digs in about fellow judge Simon Cowell. “Deep down, way down in his soul, he has a little heart and it’s so sweet,” she quipped.
