2012 MTV Video Music Awards: Watch Rihanna & Chris Brown Hug
There was plenty of bluster and a whole host of bombastic set-pieces at Thursday’s (Sep. 6) MTV Video Music Awards, but not everything made it onto your TV set. Even the most miniscule moments were captured on film during the network‘s online live stream of the proceedings, and it’s that footage which shows Rihanna hugging Chris Brown. As RiRi leaves the stage, she approaches Brown and they peck each other on the cheek and hug. She then pats him on the head as she leaves. None of this comes as much of a shocker, since RiRi recently told Oprah that she’ll probably always love Breezy, but it’s still sure to rub some people the wrong way.
