Kanye West has unveiled “To The World” to the world, the first track off the forthcoming G.O.O.D. Music compilation Cruel Summer (Sep. 18). It’s a sprawling scene-setter which finds R. Kelly doing all the heavy lifting (Ye is nowhere to be found for the first two minutes). The R&B enigma mainly chirps about running the world and throwing his middle fingers to the sky — standard hip-hop fare. But THEN, Kelly delivers what could be the best line of 2012 (and maybe ever?): “The whole world is a couch / Bitch I’m Rick James tonight.”

When Kanye jumps in over the throbbing bass, he name-drops everyone from Rick Ross to Francis Ford Coppola to Mitt Romney (“Mitt Romney don’t pay no ta-“). There’s even an uncredited (for now) female closing out the song. Hear the whole thing after the jump.
