Sky Ferreira’s ‘Ghost’ EP: See The Cover Artwork
Sky Ferreira has already reminded us that “Everything Is Embarrassing,” but there’s nothing embarrassing about the cover artwork for her upcoming EP, Ghost, which she just premiered via Twitter. In fact, it’s pretty much the opposite of embarrassing, since the photo — shot by legendary Dior Homme and Yves Saint Laurent designer and photographer Hedi Slimane — serves up the same chic, cooler-than-you glamour that positioned Ferreira as one of pop’s most promising It Girls. The EP will feature “Embarrassing,” as well as several other tracks, marking Ferreira’s first release since last year’s excellent As If! EP.
Ghost will likely also include Ferreira’s track “Lost In My Bedroom,” which was posted in demo form earlier this year, plus songs courtesy of legendary producer Jon Brion (Fiona Apple, Katy Perry) alongside Ariel Rechtshaid (Usher, Charli XCX) and Blood Orange‘s Dev Hynes, who co-produced “Everything Is Embarrassing.” The EP is due out October 2.
