Looks like One Direction sprung a leak! The video for the British boy band’s new single “Live While We’re Young” just popped up online well ahead of schedule. The clip offers a first listen to the track — penned by Carl Falk, Rami Yacoub and Savan Kotecha — which is taken from 1D’s upcoming second studio album Take Me Home. The boys of are smart enough not to mess with a good thing, and accordingly, “Live While We’re Young” sounds like a pop banger in the vein of their previous smash “What Makes You Beautiful” — albeit one with an opening riff lifted directly from The Clash‘s “Should I Stay Or Should I Go.”

The chorus is explosive, with layers of “Whoa-oa-oa” vocals and a memorable “Tonight let’s get some!” call to action. Like all of One Direction’s music, “Live While We’re Young” is relentlessly effective, and seems perfectly tailored to top the charts.

As for the clip istelf, it’s fairly standard 1D fare — the boys get up to some teenage shenanigans and, well, live while they’re young. (Significantly, an inflatable banana appears halfway through the video.) When their festivities culminate in a pool party that reads more like a wet t-shirt contest than anything else, it’s abundantly clear that 1D knows their audience.

The high-quality video is streaming above — watch now!
