Katy Perry “Devastated” Over Ex Johnny Lewis’ Death: Report
Katy Perry is “devastated” upon hearing that her one-time boyfriend Johnny Lewis has died, according to Us Weekly. Perry dated the actor from 2005-06, years before she reached fame with “I Kissed A Girl.” Even back then Lewis seemed to be going down the wrong path, which ultimately led to the couple’s breakup. But the relationship stuck with Perry, and her songs “The One That Got Away” and “Circle the Drain” were reportedly inspired by her ex-boyfriend.
As previously reported, the 28-year-old Lewis died after falling or jumping from a roof following a violent altercation with his 81-year-old landlady. Authorities believe Lewis may have beaten the elderly woman to death. The 28-year-old actor had starred in television’s Sons Of Anarchy and The O.C.
