Atlanta police reportedly broke up a shoving match between Rick Ross and Young Jeezy‘s respective camps during last night’s taping of BET’s 2012 Hip-Hop Awards in Atlanta.

The fight between members of Ross’ Maybach Music and Young Jeezy’s camp was said to have broke out backstage before spilling out into the Atlanta Civic Center parking lot. HOT 97 DJ Funkmaster Flex claims that he saw shots fired and a gunman arrested, but police report otherwise. DJ Drama later took to his HOT 107.9 mic to report his side of the Maybach-Young Jeezy scuffle:

Additionally, multiple sources report that members of 50 Cent‘s G-Unit jumped on Maybach Music Group’s Gunplay. A World Star Hip-Hop video attempted to capture the fight, although aside from people yelling Gunplay’s name from the sidelines, it’s difficult to tell exactly who is involved.

BET’s 2012 Hip-Hop Awards airs October 9.
