Sick of No Doubt yet? No? Good, because you can hear the Glee cast cover the band’s ’90s break-up classic “Don’t Speak.” With these Glee covers, the songs usually take on more emotional heft thanks to the added harmonies and the built-in musical theater melodrama. And even though the original featured some of Gwen Stefani‘s most evocative vocals, this version still ups the ante. The Glee take is more orchestral, and the male-female interplay gives an added sense of lovelorn drama. Rather fitting for an episode titled “The Break-Up.” Listen to it over at Rolling Stone and catch it on the show Thursday (October 4).
