Ever since front man Billie Joe Armstrong entered rehab for alcohol abuse, things have been pretty quiet on the Green Day front. But Thursday (October 4) we found out they’d be appearing on the soundtrack for Twilight: Breaking Dawn — Part 2, and now they’ve premiered their newest video for “Troublemaker,” off the just-released ¡Uno!.
In keeping with the simplistic theme of the album’s prior videos, this one is cobbled together from performance and studio footage, like so many hair metal videos of yore. And like those songs, this one is built on a basic, repeating riff. But “Troublemaker” is an all hand-clapping, no headbanging affair. Watch it up top.
