During last night’s (October 4) episode of Glee, “The Breakup,” four different relationships — those of Will and Emma, Rachel and Finn, Kurt and Blaine and Santana and Brittany — were are the verge of ending, and Gleeks the world over were sent blubbering into their Kleenex. So, is it splitsville for, um, Wemma, Finnchel, Klaine and Brittana? Who cares! There’s a Grease-themed episode on the way!
Thanks to heart-aching Finn’s suggestion, Mr. Schuester decided to go with the ’50s high school-themed classic as William McKinley’s annual fall musical. Glee itself is on a break until November 8, but a soundtrack of Grease covers from the show — titled Glease, naturally — will be out on November 6. Ready to hand jive? Catch the tracklist below, Greaks!

YAYYAYYYAYAYAYY!!!
Grease is a great idea; even for all of the reasons Finn sighted in the episode, because everyone likes it, even old fogies like me! Perhaps they will sell a billion records of it too and they can all retire and cancel the show. Ha! It was a pretty good episode, even if all of that flying around on a student’s budget was unrealistic. I watch the show with my kids, and the show is one of their favorite shows and it is also the theme for our Halloween party we have where I work at DISH. My kids like the show so much they save all of the episodes each season, and now that I have the Hopper DVR, I have a thousand hours to hold their shows, and mine.
I hated it when they covered Summer Loving in Season 3 and pray it will be better than that. This is a musical that they CAN NOT screw up! I really hope they do a better job in this episode. But who knows.
