Brandy‘s Two Eleven is coming to us a lot sooner than its inspiration date, February 11, would have you believe — it drops October 16. The long-absent R&B diva has been posting tracks from the LP to her YouTube channel in anticipation, the latest of which is “Let Me Go,” which samples one of favorite singing Swedes, Lykke Li. Hear it below.

“If Mama saw that side of me, she would be on Twitter saying, ‘You know I didn’t raise you that way,’” Brandy sasses on the track, which is how you know the song was written in 2012.
With its get-up-and-march drums and the slinky vocals, the track reminds us of some of Beyonce‘s finer moments. That can’t be a bad thing.
