Former Pussycat Dolls leader Nicole Sherzinger revealed inner demons and some behind-the-scenes PCD drama on her episode of VH1′s Behind The Music, which aired Sunday (October 8). The singer opened up about struggling with bulimia for years, admitting that she hated herself. “I never did drugs, but hurting myself was my addiction,” she said. “The music is what saved me. That’s the only thing I can trust.” Watch the full episode after the jump.
Nicole’s health issues contributed to the group’s demise, although tension between members was also a factor. Scherzinger quickly emerged as the face of the group, and she told VH1 she performed 95% of their material. However, TMZ caught up with former Pussycat Doll Kaya Jones, who said Scherz may have sung 95% of their stuff, but only because Nicole always “wanted to be in the spotlight and would do pretty much anything to get it.”
