The MTV Europe Music Awards are shaping up to be a star-studded affair. Taylor Swift, No Doubt and Muse were already confirmed to perform at the upcoming ceremony — continental Europe’s biggest awards show, which takes place this year in Frankfurt, Germany — and now three more megawatt performers have been added to the proceedings: Carly Rae Jepsen, Rita Ora and fun.
All three artists share the distinction of being MTV PUSH artists — musical acts on the rise tipped for breakout success — so performing at MTV’s European awards show is a natural next platform for Jepsen, Ora and fun. The EMAs will be broadcast around the world on November 11, with Heidi Klum set to host. Rihanna led this year’s nominations, with Taylor Swift, Justin Bieber and Katy Perry close behind. (Last year’s big winner, Lady Gaga, has three noms for 2012.) See the full list of who’s up for what here.
