We’ve barely finished putting together our Halloween How-To Costume Guides, but Cee Lo Green already has his mind on Christmas. The Voice coach tweeted on Wednesday “Here’s another one to get you in the spirit early” with a link to the music video — excuse us, “audio visualizer” — for “Run Rudolph Run”. We can understand how the stylish crooner is already thinking about the holidays (his Xmas album Magic Moments drops October 30), but the video isn’t exactly helping the seemingly premature yultide cheer. Watch as models dressed in Santa hats, tiny white tops and an assortment of American Apparel bottoms ride around NYC in a purple Rolls Royce convertible and sprinkle glitter over the Big Apple.
We thought Cee Lo stayed pretty close to Chuck Berry’s original version of “Run Rudolph Run” (which will forever remind us of Home Alone), what do you think of the cover?
