For the third week in a row, Mumford & Sons‘ second LP Babel keeps its stranglehold on the Billboard Top 200. The album sold another 96,000, enough to maintain its perch in the peak position and hold off duo Macklemore & Ryan Lewis‘ The Heist (#2, 78,000), KISS‘ Monster (#3, 56,000), Barbra Streisand‘s Release Me (#7, 44,000) and Ellie Goulding‘s Halcyon (#9, 34,000).
Altogether, seven new albums debuted within the Top 10, with Babel, Pink‘s The Truth About Love (#8) and Muse‘s The 2nd Law (#10) being the only holdovers. See how the rest of the chart panned out below.
