After watching the above video for the curiously-titled “Japanese Eyes” from L.A. synth-rockers Kitten, it’s clear they have an ace in the hole with singer Chloe Chaidez. Despite the fact that she’s only 17, everything about her exudes confidence, as she thrashes about in a gold sequined dress yelping “Is this love, love, love I’m feeling / Love or the wrecking ball.”
True to the band’s name, she’s basically the embodiment of [insert "reerr" cat sound here] and serves to glam up the group’s jittery mix of synths and squalls. This song is off their Cut It Out EP.
