Lady Gaga is busy bringing her Born This Way Ball to her Little Monsters, but at some point between shows she got wind of Die Antwoord‘s Gaga-dissing “Fatty Boom Boom” video, because she took to Facebook last night (October 17) to diss the South African rappers. Mother Monster showed them her teeth, posting: “i fink u freaky but you don’t have a hit. hundred thousand tIckets sold in SA. #thatmyshit…i guess its not a good idea to tell someone you’re a fan. never mind! we get it, you’re not a little monster. WE GOT IT.”
If you’ll recall, Die Antwoord’s video features a Gaga lookalike grotesquely giving birth to some sort of creepy-crawler and eventually getting eaten by a lion. All because poor Mother Monster earlier this year asked the “I Fink You Freeky” rappers to open for her on tour. Gaga may have played right into the hands of the trash-rap provocateurs, but she definitely wins this round.
Hilarious! That’s a better diss than the “Fatty Boom Boom” vid? lol! Lady Gaga should be thankful for the publicity.. She is so yesterday’s news.

pretty sure lady gaga’s popularity is bigger than die ant, they’re the ones who have something to gain. pretty smart of them to rile up gaga for publicity, though I think the video was a bit tasteless.

Bragging about how many tickets she’s sold is about the lamest, worst response she could have given. Gaga comes off as a shallow Kardashian. If she were anything more than a marketing genius (no, she’s not an artist) she would have just kept her mouth shut and kept pumping out recycled ’80s pop for her legions of 14 year old fans. “Won this round”? Puh-lease!
I had never even heard of Die Antwoord before so I guess this has got them good publicity although I personally don’t like the song I actually find the vid really funny and I’m a Gagga fan!
I love how Lady Gaga gives everything to her videos, each one is like an amazing performance art. She gives her body and soul with each performance.

The author is clearly bias and the fact that we are discussing what some “trash-rap” group said about her majesty shows that their burns truly stung. Every time Gaga mentions Die Antwoord you know she is still feeling butt hurt. Gaga asked D.A. to tour with her and they decided money was not the end all be all.
