We know Kendrick Lamar spends a lot of time with Dr. Dre, but he still has time to collaborate with a whole host of other MCs, as we saw on the tracklist for good kid, m.A.A.d city. One such collabo that people circled was “Poetic Justice” with Drake. Now we can hear the song, and it’s a velvety jam that manages to keep it classy. Stream it after the jump.

Drake serves up a rapid-fire verse between Lamar’s typically cool runs, and if that breathy female falsetto floating throughout the song sounds familiar, that’s because it’s a sample of Janet Jackson‘s “Any Time, Any Place” (which did not appear on the soundtrack to Janet’s film Poetic Justice).  The song was produced by Scoop DeVille and appears on good kid, m.A.A.d city, out October 22.
