Rihanna and Maroon 5 are both slated to perform on Saturday Night Live in the coming weeks. Ahead of the November 19 release of her seventh album Unapologetic, RiRi will be on the November 10 episode, hosted by Anne Hathaway. Maroon 5 will hit the SNL stage a week later, for the episode hosted by Jeremy Renner. It will be the fourth time both acts have performed in Studio 8H.
When the “Diamonds” singer last appeared on the NBC show on May 5 (for a steamy performance of “Birthday Cake/Talk That Talk” followed by “Where Have You Been”), there were rumors head honcho Lorne Michaels was angry with her for missing dress rehearsal. But, here she is six months later, probably because Michaels figured RiRi = ratings.
