One Direction is starting to spring a leak, with snippets of all the songs from the boys’ upcoming album Take Me Home arriving online this morning, and despite some mixed impressions of the latest single “Little Things,” their new LP sounds like it’s going to be an all-star pop effort.
So far, we’ve heard snippets of all of the album tracks and based on this preview, Take Me Home is a more cohesive and stronger take on the same magic that made their debut Up All Night work so well — anthemic pop-rock mixed with tender ballads mixed with more anthemic pop-rock. (Check out those “E.T.”/“We Will Rock You”-esque drums on “Rock Me,” too — yikes!) Listen to the album sampler after the jump.
