:: After speaking in front of the prestigious Oxford Union, PSY will now be honored by South Korea’s culture minister. The viral rapper will receive the Okgwan Order of Cultural Merit for his ”contribution to increasing the world’s awareness of Korean pop music and ensuing interest in Korea.” [Billboard]
:: Carly Rae Jepsen is being sued for copyright infringement again. This time, Ukrainian
stripper singer Aza claims Jepsen’s “Call Me Maybe” has lyrics from her song “Hunky Santa.” We’ve seen a lot of dubious music lawsuits, but this one may end up setting a new land speed record for quickest dismissal by a judge. [TMZ]
